A rock in a meadow
All alone and cold
A stone sits beside it
Unforgiving and worm
And envy is formed
A friendship ruined
The smooth pebble no longer
A place of comfort
The rock a hard thing to talk to
The stone no longer wading
The rock rough and angry
The stone wet with sorrow
A barrier was formed
The wall was made
And what do you know
The mortar was made
Of not the rock
Or of the stone
But of the gravel
That both had sat on for so long
All alone and cold
A stone sits beside it
Unforgiving and worm
And envy is formed
A friendship ruined
The smooth pebble no longer
A place of comfort
The rock a hard thing to talk to
The stone no longer wading
The rock rough and angry
The stone wet with sorrow
A barrier was formed
The wall was made
And what do you know
The mortar was made
Of not the rock
Or of the stone
But of the gravel
That both had sat on for so long

The ending is like a climax in a way, good way to end it off.
